Albert Frost to perform at Misty Waters Music Festival

Albert Frost is no stranger to the blues music scene. From the age of 17 (1994), he was a member of Blues Broers with his father, Frank Frost. Even though he is not a permanent member of Blues Broers anymore, he still has a relationship with the band.

He carries the nickname “South African Hendrix” and has extraordinary skills on acoustic and electric guitars. His love for guitars made it easy for him to become one of the first Fender endorsees in South Africa in 2000. He has been linked to this brand ever since.

Blues will always be Albert’s first love. He has recorded with Arno Carstens, Koos Kombuis, Chris Chameleon, Anton Goosen, David Kramer, Karen Zoid, Blues Broers and many others. He has performed with international artists like Ali Franka Touré and Finly Quaya. He toured with Simple Mind and REM and supported the Rolling Stones.

Frost has performed at some of the most legendary and exclusive international music festivals including Isle of Wight, Hard Rock Calling, Oppikoppi and now, the Misty Waters Music Festival.
The Wake Up is the title of his 3rd solo album that was released in 2016. Albert says “this album will surprise and excite his fans”

Come and be surprised and excited at Misty Waters, 27 to 29 April 2018.
