On 6 March 2020, the Black Back Jackals will be performing at Zebra Lounge. Black Back Jackals is an indie-folk-rock band from Johannesburg, inspired by the likes of The Civil Wars, MONSTER & MEN, The White Stripes and Angus & Julia Stone.
They love having fun on stage & that passionate vibe is so contagious that any crowd loves grooving or singing along. The band consists of two artists, Shaun and Sasha. They are close friends, from different backgrounds & they use that to merge their individual messages into influential songs that appeal to a wide range of listeners.
This is a fairly new band in the industry. They were formed and started writing songs around mid-2019 and are quickly turning heads with their performances. They’ve performed at Sink Shack, Country Pub Kyalami, River Sands Farm and Railways Café in Pretoria, alongside Crystal Park and Stones & Gold. In September of 2019, Black Back Jackals released their very first single, in association with Mix 93.8 FM.
