The second Misty Waters Music Festival

The second Misty Waters Music Festival is less than a month away and we are gearing up for a spectacular weekend hosted on 27 to 29 April.

Starting on Freedom Day, oh yes, freedom is going to be filling the air at Misty Waters, with some of the biggest blues names in South Africa. Dan Patlansky, who is known worldwide for his jaw- dropping guitar skills and is ranked by many across the globe as one of the best blues artists in the world.

Misty Waters, all about bringing the raw talent of the SA music scene to the eardrums of the discerning music lover. You will be able to enjoy the sounds of the legends of South African rock, blues and folk such as the infamous Koos Kombuis, Jan Blohm, Bacchus Nel and Piet Botha, to name but a few..

To stay true to the Misty Water philosophy even more, we will be embracing the eclectic sounds of Native Young, coming up for some water all the way from Cape Town. They will surely be warming our hearts with the fusions of diverse musical backgrounds into funky and soulful melodies.

Be ready to float away with the clouds, entranced by the “dream-pop” energies of Bye Beneco, chill out to rock-reggae blends of Tidal Waves, rock your socks off to “The Black Cat Bones” or get up and dance to the jumpy “We Are Charlie”. There is a large variation of diverse sounds that will leave you wishing to update your road-trip playlist.

At Misty Waters you can expect to be mesmerised by the music, entranced by the natural beauty and feel at home with all the friendly faces around you.
