Things to do in Secunda

Living in Gauteng makes you want to leave the busy surroundings occasionally.  With economic restraints, it’s not always possible to plan a trip to Durban or Cape Town nevertheless abroad. Why not plan a trip to your neighbouring city – Secunda in Mpumalanga, the Capital of Cosmos country?

Various family activities are available in Secunda, you just need to know where to find them.

Luckily the Lake Umuzi Waterfront is one of the biggest attractions in Secunda.  Its facilities are family friendly and it’s just 1 hour’s drive from the East Rand.

Whether you’re planning a one-day afternoon drive, a romantic weekend getaway or a week of peacefulness, this sure is the place where you’ll find that opportunity. Not only is this a getaway, but specials events such as birthdays, anniversaries, and weddings can be booked at this event.

Accommodation is available according to everybody’s liking.  Whether you prefer an elegant hotel, a carbon footprint hotel, a self-catering lodgemodern lofts or a caravan or camping site – you will be accommodated.

Kids activities are also available for the youngsters.  Carnival Square is the largest play area for children with supervision and secured cameras. Rocky Waters offers an 18-hole miniature golf course and can be enjoyed by the whole family.
